7:30 am: private pick-up at your hotel and departure for the Sacred Valley, on a scenic drive through the Andean countryside.
Moray - Inca agricultural knowledge: explore the agricultural laboratories where microclimates were created to experiment with sacred crops. Here we discuss ancestral sustainability and indigenous knowledge that endures today.
Maras - colonial memory preserved in stone: a town frozen in time, its cobbled streets and carved heraldic doorways.
Salt mines: more than 3,000 salt pans glisten in the heart of the mountains, where local families keep the harvesting tradition alive.
Ollantaytambo - the last inhabited Inca stronghold: its lanes, canals and temples tell stories of resistance and wisdom. Lunch included at a local restaurant.
Train to Aguas Calientes: a panoramic train through lush jungle, along the Vilcanota river.
Arrival and check-in at your hotel. Optionally, visit the village hot springs.
Early breakfast and departure for Machu Picchu. As the bus climbs towards the citadel, the sun rises between the mountains.
Entry and private guided tour of Machu Picchu, on the circuit assigned subject to availability, adapted to your pace and interests: Guardian's House, Temple of the Sun, Temple of the Three Windows, Sacred Square, agricultural and residential zones, Intihuatana or Sacred Rock depending on the route.

Bus back down and free time in Aguas Calientes (lunch at your own expense, not included).
Return train to Ollantaytambo (approx. 2:30 - 4:10 pm), then private transfer to Cusco (approx. 4:30 - 6:30 pm) to your hotel.
