This itinerary was designed for travellers who want to leave the beaten track of conventional tourism behind. It combines the wonders of the Andes with the depth of the Amazon, creating an intimate, rich and transformative experience, step by step.
On arrival at Jorge Chávez international airport in Lima, our team welcomes you and takes you to your hotel.
This day is dedicated to rest and a gentle acclimatisation to the country, so you can enjoy your first impression of Peru: a warm welcome and flawless organisation.
After breakfast, our driver collects you from the hotel and takes you to the airport. After your flight to Cusco we welcome you with coca tea to ease altitude sickness.
After a short break we begin the city tour: the cathedral, Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), Sacsayhuamán, Q'enqo, Tambomachay and Puca Pucara.
History, spirituality and ancestral architecture intertwine in a fascinating day. We then take you to your hotel.
We begin the day in the Sacred Valley, surrounded by mountains, crops and Andean villages. We visit Pisac and its craft market, then continue to Urubamba before reaching Ollantaytambo, an Inca town still alive today.
On the way back we pass through Chinchero, famous for its textiles and living heritage. Finally we drop you at your hotel in Cusco to rest.
You spend a unique day with our porters and their Andean community. You learn their stories, take part in their daily activities and enjoy a traditional dinner under the stars.
This social immersion prepares you emotionally for what comes next: the sacred Inca route.
From km 82 we begin the climb towards Machu Picchu on a route combining nature and archaeology. That day we explore the ruins of Llactapata, then reach the Wayllabamba valley, where we camp amid lush jungle.
This first day lets you settle into the pace, the environment and the spirit of the trail.
Today we face the greatest physical challenge of the route: the Warmiwañusca pass (4,215 m), also known as "Dead Woman's Pass".
The climb is demanding, but the reward is a magnificent landscape, an unbeatable view over the Vilcanota river and its mountain range, and a deep sense of satisfaction.
After crossing it we descend to Pacaymayo to rest under the starry Andean sky.
The longest day, but also the most rewarding. After passing some small Inca ruins we reach the second pass and discover Runkurakay, Sayacmarca ("the dominant town"), Conchamarca and the mystical Phuyupatamarca, "the town above the clouds".
We immerse ourselves in the magic of its Andean forests, admiring hundreds of orchids and hummingbirds.
We then descend ancient Inca staircases to Wiñay Wayna ("Forever Young"), where we camp for the last time.
We rise early to reach Inti Punku (the Sun Gate) and take in the first magical view of Machu Picchu. We then enter the citadel for a two-hour guided tour.
After free exploration we head down to Aguas Calientes, have lunch and take the train back to Cusco.
A free day for you: rest, visit museums, taste the local cuisine or simply let the city surprise you at your own pace.
Valuable time to take in the experiences of the previous days.
We fly to Puerto Maldonado and travel up the Madre de Dios river to the lodge deep in the jungle.
We explore Cocha Caimán and, at dusk, watch caimans and other nocturnal animals. A complete change of scene, but an equally intense experience.
We follow jungle trails to Apu Víctor lake, home to birds, monkeys, turtles and perhaps even the elusive giant river otter. From the viewpoint we enjoy spectacular panoramas.
In the afternoon we explore Monkey Island and observe different species in their natural habitat.
We leave the jungle after breakfast at the lodge. We return by boat to Puerto Maldonado for your flight to Lima and your journey home.
You leave not only with photographs, but with a deep inner transformation.
